Sarah Jessica Parker and Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei reportedly are close to signing onto a new indie romantic comedy project, Married and Cheating.
The movie is about three unhappily married struggling couples trying to recapture happier days in their long term relationships. The couples' paths cross over a long weekend in New York and Paris.
The project will be written and directed by indie director Raymond De Felitta. He has helmed the 2009’s movie City Island, as well as the 2005’s The Thing About My Folks, and the Sundance Award winner, Two Family House.
Groundswell Productions and Lucky Monkey Pictures are the production companies backing the project with Michael London and Lauren Versel producing.
Neither actress is a stranger to the romantic comedy genre.
Sarah Jessica Parker, best known for playing Carrie Bradshaw, as also lent her talents to such movies as Failure to Launch, and Honeymoon in Las Vegas.
Marisa Tomei’s credits include Anger Management and My Cousin Vinnie, for which she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
The film will feature an ensemble cast. Other cast members have not been revealed yet.
